500w800w1000w motor with gear box

This is a brushless motor with gear box, can be used on electric mobility scooters, electric ATV, electric cargo tricycles and some other vehicles. Its power can be made into 500w, 800w, 1000w or bigger with big size body.

It is also called differential motor, due to the gear box. When we are driving the scooter, and turn left and right, the other side the wheel will stop run, the system is like the cars.

Another advantage and reason why many vehicles use this kind of motor is because it is big power. Comparing the the hub motor, with same rated motor power, it is much strong, easy carrying more loading and better climbing ability.

The disadvantage is its heavy weight, and big size. And it must be equipped with an axle connect to wheels, which added extra weight. This system is most stable and most widely used on vehicles, especially when need big power output.

There are some mobility scooters equipped with dual hub motors, instead of this differential motor, but the cost is higher and stability is not so good. It should be fine for dual hub motors to be used on low speed mobility scooters, but for big size scooter, and need good performance, differential motor is better.
