we have customers complain that why our mobility scooters are more expensive than others, and even the parts are more expensive too. For example our wholesale normal charger costs more than 6 dollar, while they say there are some others quoted 4 dollar, or even less. why do not buy cheap scooter battery charger？
Always remember you get what you pay.
In order to find the truth, we bought two cheap scooter chargers from online shop with 3 dollar. One is 48v2A and another is 48v3A. Both sellers declare their chargers are new and good quality. (click here to see the youtube video link Tiktok link)
When the two chargers arrived, it is well packed with a box, and when open, the outside charger plastic box is new looking, big size, and weight is not too light. We tried to plug in and charge a mobility 3 wheel scooter, it is working with red light on.
Secondly, we use a hammer to crack the plastic box, because the screw is special, and we do not have such tools to open it. BIG SURPRISE! It is really shit inside. The board is very dirty, and the wires are badly welded, and some wires mostly worn out. So, what the sellers say new is only the outside plastic box, inside parts are used. It is totally a recycled and should not be sold again.
This kind of used cheap battery charger is not durable at all. Maybe you can charge it for a few times, but easy to be broken and you have to buy new one. What is worse, it is no good for the battery and it is dangerous to cause explosion fire. DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP BATTERY CHARGER TO SAVE ONLY A FEW COINS.
If you are not much know about charger and battery, it is better to buy from a local stores, to make sure the charger is good quality and match your battery. There are many different battery( lithium battery and acid battery) and voltages (24V36V48V60V72V), must be careful.
